Manila, Dec. 24 -- The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Wednesday it has seized illegal drugs with an estimated street value of PHP15.16 million and arrested 55 individuals in its weeklong operations.

In a statement, PDEA Director General Isagani Nerez said these arrests and seizures were the products of the agency's 52 anti-illegal drug operations from Dec. 12 to 19.

Among the illegal drugs confiscated were 1,078.90 grams of suspected shabu, 75,800 fully grown marijuana plants, and 12.50 grams of dried marijuana leaves.
