Manila, Feb. 19 -- At least six motor vehicles worth PHP10.9 million ordered through the eMarketplace online platform have already been turned over to the procuring entities, the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) said Wednesday.
The eMarketplace is one of the many components of the New Government Procurement Act (NGPA), a law signed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on July 20, 2024 to push for a "transformative reform" that modernizes and augments public procurement processes in the country by addressing existing loopholes and inefficiencies.
