Manila, Sept. 3 -- A tourist rest area (TRA) in Lingayen town will soon be open to the public, providing essential amenities for visitors, an official said.

Marco Sales, a tourism operations officer at the Provincial Tourism and Cultural Affairs Office, confirmed in a forum on Wednesday that the facility is completed and they target to open it in the coming months.

"It has a charging station, pasalubong center, possibly a cafe. It has restrooms to cater to visitors and shower rooms for beachgoers; it's a one-stop-shop," he said.
