In a news release Friday, Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III said the titles covered a combined area of 726.62 hectares of agricultural land that were government-owned, and previously placed under concession to the Yulo King Ranch for cattle raising as part of the food security program of the late President Ferdinand E. Marcos Sr., father of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
DAR said the distribution held on Thursday at the Busuanga Gymnasium secured the farmers' tenurial and property rights.
