India, June 9 -- National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Maj. Gen. Aberin on Monday said 5,344 police personnel will be deployed across the region for the "Oplan Balik-Eskwela" on June 16.
Aberin said the deployment is aimed at ensuring the safety and security of students, educators, and parents, and in response to the strict five-minute police response time to all emergencies.
The police personnel will come from the NCRPO's districts - Manila Police District (MPD), Quezon City Police District (QCPD), Northern Police District (NPD), Southern Police District (SPD), and Eastern Police District (EPD).
