Manila, June 2 -- Outgoing Vice Governor Edgar Denosta considers the three-story legislative building of Antique his best legacy.

Denosta lobbied for the funds for the project, which started construction in 2020.

"The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) funded the building that was finally inaugurated on Jan. 28, 2021," he said in an interview on Monday.

The provincial board used to hold regular sessions at a small rented building. The new structure provided a conducive working space for officials and their staff.

While waiting for its turnover, pending retrofitting and other repair works like for the elevator, the new office already allowed the provincial board to dispatch work more efficiently.
