Manila, March 21 -- The Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU) on Friday lauded strong international support that played a crucial role in peacekeeping efforts in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARRM).
In a statement, OPAPRU Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. said over the years, countries like Turkiye, Norway, Brunei, and Malaysia have been instrumental in the success of peace mechanisms such as the Independent Decommissioning Body and the International Monitoring Team.
