MANILA, March 1 -- The Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU) on Saturday urged Filipino Muslims to offer a collective prayer for "just and lasting peace" in the country as the Holy Month of Ramadan begins on March 2.
In a statement, Presidential Peace Adviser Carlito Galvez Jr. said Ramadan serves as a "powerful reminder" of the values of compassion, solidarity, and the pursuit of peace that Filipinos share.
