Manila, Oct. 29 -- The Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) on Wednesday announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with the Bayo Foundation Inc. which seeks to integrate women's empowerment into peacebuilding and development initiatives across the country.
The MOU between the two organizations was signed last Oct. 28 at the opening of the Philippine Conference on Women, Peace and Security (PCWPS), the OPAPRU said in a statement.
