Manila, May 22 -- Nueva Ecija recorded 210 focus crimes from January to May 20, a 16 percent decrease from the 251 incidents reported during the same period in 2024, police announced Thursday.
Col. Ferdinand Germino, provincial police director, attributed the 41-case reduction to heightened patrols and community crime prevention efforts.

He added the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office has intensified visibility operations and grassroots initiatives this year.
