Manila, March 25 -- The police and the military should stay "apolitical" and should not be dragged into the issues concerning the arrest of former president Rodrigo Duterte, Malacanang said Tuesday.
In a Palace press briefing, Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary and Palace Press Officer Claire Castro agreed with Senate President Francis Escudero that there is no need to involve the uniformed services in controversies.
"Tama naman po (It's right). The public servants should be apolitical, they should not be dragged over this personal issues specially of the Dutertes," Castro said.
