Manila, May 12 -- No major untoward incidents have so far been reported during the conduct of the May 12 national and local elections, Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Jay Ruiz said on Monday.

This, as Ruiz assured the public of the state media's collaborative and extensive efforts to provide real-time, reliable, and nationwide reporting on midterm elections.

"Dito nga sa command center natin, wala pa talaga tayong natatanggap na malaking pangyayaring hindi maganda. At para naman sa ating mga kababayan, tututok po ang ating state media kahit saan pa iyan (Here at our command center, we have not yet received any major unfortunate incidents.
