Manila, Dec. 15 -- No Filipino has been reported dead or injured from the terror attack in Bondi Beach in Sydney over the weekend, the Philippine Consulate General in Sydney said Monday.

The Consulate confirmed that it has coordinated with the New South Wales Police Protection Operations Unit, which advised that, as of this time, there are no indications that Filipino nationals are among the confirmed fatalities or injured.

It also condoled with the families of those killed, the injured, and the communities affected by the terror attack during a Hanukkah community event on Dec. 14.

At least 16 people have died and 40 remain hospitalized following the shooting. A child was among the victims.
