Manila, Feb. 10 -- Malacanang on Tuesday said President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has yet to decide whether to accept an invitation from United States President Donald Trump to join a proposed international Board of Peace (BOP).

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said no meeting or commitment related to the invitation has been finalized.

"Sa ngayon po ay wala pa pong napa-finalize na anumang tungkol sa meeting," (As of now, nothing has been finalized regarding any meeting)," Castro said in a Palace briefing.

Philippine Ambassador to the U.S. Jose Manuel Romualdez earlier bared that Trump, through the White House, has sent a personal letter addressed to Marcos inviting him to be a member of the BOP.
