Manila, July 25 -- Restoration on transmission lines affected by Typhoon Emong (international name Co-May) in Northern Luzon has started, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said Friday.
In an advisory, the power transmission operator did not give specifics on what lines are being restored but said its crews are now inspecting and assessing the damage.
As of 1 p.m., the affected lines include the Labrador-Bolinao 69kV Line, which serves the Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative (CENPELCO) and the Pangasinan 1 Electric Cooperative (PANELCO 1).
