Manila, Nov. 7 -- Another transmission line in Visayas has been restored, but two others remain unavailable after being damaged during the onslaught of Typhoon Tino (international name Kalmaegi).
In its 1 p.m. report on Friday, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said the Maasin-Baybay 69-kilovolt (kV) Line has been restored. This line services the Leyte IV Electric Cooperative, Inc. (LEYECO IV).
It said the Ormoc-San Isidro 69-kV line, which caters to Don Orestes Romualdez Electric Cooperative, Inc. (DORELCO), Southern Leyte Electric Cooperative Inc. (SOLECO), LEYECO III, and LEYECO V, remains partially energized.
