Manila, Feb. 6 -- Transmission service for the Maasin- San Isidro 69kV Line has been restored as of 7:29 a.m. Friday after it was cut Thursday night due to Tropical Storm Basyang (international name Penha).

The transmission line caters to the Southern Leyte Electric Cooperative Inc. (SOLECO) and the Don Orestes Romualdez Electric Cooperative, Inc. (DORELCO).

However, the Placer-Madrid 69kV Line, also affected by Basyang since Thursday night, remains unavailable, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) said in an advisory.

This line services the Surigao del Norte Electric Cooperative (SURNECO), the Siargao Electric Cooperative Inc. (SIARELCO), and the Surigao del Sur Electric Cooperative II, Inc. (SURSECO II).
