Manila, Nov. 4 -- Two transmission lines in the Visayas and Mindanao that were affected by Typhoon Tino (Kalmaegi) have been restored Tuesday morning, but 14 remain unavailable, according to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
In its 10 a.m. report, the transmission operator identified the restored lines as the Ormoc-Baybay 69kV line, which services the Leyte IV Electric Cooperative Inc. (LEYECO IV) and LEYECO V; and the Placer-Madrid 69kV line, which serves the Surigao del Norte Electric Cooperative (SURNECO), Siargao Electric Cooperative (SIARELCO), and Surigao del Sur II Electric Cooperative (SURSECO II).
On the other hand, eight 69kV lines, five 138kV lines, and one 350kV line are still unavailable.
