Manila, July 28 -- Teams from the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) are now assessing two 69kV transmission lines servicing electric cooperatives in the provinces of Bataan and Cagayan de Oro (CDO) after these became unavailable before noon Monday.
In its 1 p.m. advisory, the power transmission operator said the Alasasin-Mariveles 69kV Line 3, servicing the Peninsula Electric Cooperative (PENELCO) in Bataan, became unavailable at around 11:33 a.m.
On the other hand, the Opol-CDO 69kV Line 1 servicing customers of the Misamis Oriental-1 Rural Electric Service Cooperative, Inc. (MORESCO-1) and the Cagayan Electric Power and Light Company, Inc. (CEPALCO) went down at around 10:29 a.m.
