NGCP lifts manual load dropping in Zambo Peninsula, other areas
ZAMBOANGA CITY, Nov. 30 -- The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has lifted the implementation of Manual Load Dropping (MLD) on all 69-kilovolt (KV) lines servicing seven electric cooperatives in three provinces.
The electric cooperatives include the Zamboanga City Electric Cooperative; Zamboanga del Norte Electric Cooperative; Zamboanga del Sur Electric Cooperatives 1 and 2; Misamis Occidental Electric Cooperative Incorporated 1 and 2; and Lanao del Norte Electric Cooperative.
In a statement on Wednesday, the NGCP said the Baloi-Aurora 138-KV and Agus 5-Aurora 138-KV lines, particularly between Towers 22 and 23, "are now cleared from tall-grown trees and hazardous vegetation."
