Manila, July 28 -- Transmission lines and facilities nationwide are working 100 percent ahead of the fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Monday.

"NGCP's (National Grid Corporation of the Philippines) transmission lines and facilities are under normal operations," the power transmission operator said in its 9 a.m. advisory.

In an earlier statement, NGCP said its Overall Command Center were activated since 7 a.m. Monday, and will be up until 6 p.m. to release status reports on substation and transmission lines.

This is "part of its preparations to secure power transmission operations and facilities during this year's State of the Nation Address," it said.
