MANILA, Feb. 8 -- Aspiring archers now have a new place to hone their skills following the opening of an international-standard archery range at a 10-hectare mixed-use property development in Quezon City.

The Circulo Verde range features target distances that meet global standards, aims to provide a much-needed training ground for both recreational shooters and competitive athletes.

"I'm excited about this new archery range, because for the longest time, in Metro Manila, there's no public range," national archery coach Nino Sinco said during the range's grand opening on Saturday.

"The only one that existed before closed down. So now, this one is totally open. Anyone from any club can come here and shoot here," he said.
