Manila, Sept. 4 -- The Negros Electric and Power Corp. is investing PHP192 million for the procurement of a 37.5 megavolt amperes (MVA) mobile substation as part of the first three years of the five-year development plan in its franchise area in central Negros.

Negros Power president and chief executive officer Roel Castro said in a press briefing on Wednesday, marking their first year of operation, that they are targeting to acquire the mobile substation by May next year.

"The new mobile substation will support growth in the area," he said.
