Manila, Feb. 20 -- Around 1 million Pangasinenses are now enrolled in the Konsultasyong Sulit at Tama (Konsulta) program of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) through the provincial government's Government Unified Incentives for Medical Consultation (Guiconsulta) program.
Pangasinan Governor Ramon Guico III announced on Thursday that the number of enrollees has grown since Guiconsulta was launched in September last year.
The program aims to encourage PhilHealth members in the province to take advantage of the preventive healthcare package.
Under Guiconsulta, those availing of PhilHealth's Konsulta program receive fare and food allowances.
