Manila, Sept. 11 -- The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Thursday said its Bataan District Office (BATADO) arrested two individuals for human trafficking.
Operatives of the NBI-BATADO arrested Regina Tagulao and Grazel De Vera in a resto-bar in Limay, Bataan last Sept. 3 for offering women, including minors, to customers for sexual services.
The operation also led to the rescue of five individuals, including two minors.
The suspects were charged for violations of Republic Act (RA) 9208, as amended by RA 10364 as further amended by RA 11862, otherwise known as the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2022.
