MANILA, Dec. 30 -- The annual Thanksgiving procession of the Black Nazarene will be held on New Year's Eve, one of the three occasions when the image is being brought outside the Quiapo Church in Manila.

Alex Irasga, Quiapo Church's technical adviser for the Jesus Nazareno Fiesta 2025, on Monday said the procession dubbed the "Walk of Thanksgiving" is a procession within the vicinity of Quiapo Church.

"This is an annual event, a yearend event held on Dec. 31. It was done midnight of Dec. 30th, into the 31st of December. This is to thank our dear Lord for the graces that our fellow Filipinos and fellow devotees," he said in a telephone interview.
