Manila, May 13 -- Makati City Mayor-elect Nancy Binay on Tuesday emphasized the need for open communication with Taguig City officials as both sides continue to navigate longstanding territorial issues.

"Actually, marami pa kaming dapat pag-usapan kasi wala pang writ of execution and may mga asset ang Makati na nasa Taguig ngayon (Actually, there's still a lot we need to discuss because there is no writ of execution yet, and there Makati City assets that are currently in Taguig)," she said in an interview after being proclaimed as Makati mayor, referring to pending legal procedures and property concerns between the two cities.
