JAEN, Sept. 29 -- Fourteen police and medical front-liners who contracted and have recovered from coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) were accorded joint appreciation by the municipal government here and the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO) on Monday.
Mayor Sylvia Austria said aside from certificates of appreciation, the local government also extended cash incentives to the "survivors" including town police chief Maj. Baltazar Corpuz and Municipal Health Office head Dr. Benny Lopez.
The ACT-CIS partylist also gave them packs of goods, said NEPPO Director Col. Marvin Joe Saro.
