Manila, Dec. 30 -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday called on motorists and travelers to strictly follow road regulations to ensure public safety, especially with the influx of travelers for the New Year celebration.

In a statement, PNP acting chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez, Jr., emphasized that strict adherence to traffic rules is crucial to prevent road crashes, which have increased in recent days amid the holiday rush.
