MANILA, Nov. 19 -- More than 10,000 former overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who have passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) have successfully reintegrated into the country and returned to the education sector, the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) announced on Wednesday.

In a press release, the DMW said that this reintegration was made possible through its "Sa 'Pinas, Ikaw ang Ma'am at Sir" (SPIMS) Program.

"Over the years, SPIMS has enabled more than 10,000 OFWs to return to their vocation and teach in various public schools across the country," the DMW said.

The program provides guidance and support to former OFWs, helping them reintegrate into the education workforce.
