Manila, June 16 -- MORE Electric and Power Corp. (MORE Power) is looking forward to serving consumers from the 15 municipalities and one component city in Iloilo province after the Supreme Court denied with finality the motion for reconsideration filed by electric cooperatives challenging the validity of its expanded franchise.

"Technically, it affirms the decision that the expanded franchise of MORE Power is valid and constitutional, and it allows us to expand our electric distribution services from Iloilo City to 15 municipalities and one component city in the province of Iloilo," MORE Power legal officer Elizabeth Dyhn Cabunagan said in an interview on Monday.
