Manila, Aug. 4 -- Warm and humid weather will prevail in most parts of the country on Monday, the weather bureau said.

"Due to the monsoon break, most areas will experience warm and humid weather. Isolated rain showers and localized thunderstorms are still likely," Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecaster Daniel James Villamil said.

The southwest monsoon or "habagat" affecting extreme northern Luzon will bring isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in Batanes and Babuyan Islands.

The rest of the country will experience isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
