Manila, Jan. 20 -- A new public park for senior citizens and pet owners will soon rise at the Plaza Azul in Pandacan, Manila, following its groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday.

The project is a collaboration between the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), Department of Budget and Management (DBM), and the local government unit of Manila.

The Plaza Azul Senior Citizen and Pet Park is a flagship undertaking under Metro Manila's Green Green Green (G3) Project and aims to transform the underutilized area through the creation of green open areas, recreation and wellness facilities, and community spaces.
