MANILA, March 25 -- The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will allow government and private construction projects to conduct round-the-clock road diggings beginning Wednesday until the early hours of Easter Monday.

MMDA acting chair Romando Artes said the order aims to take advantage of the expected downturn in vehicular traffic in the National Capital Region (NCR) during the Holy Week.
