Manila, July 3 -- The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Thursday met with school executives to discuss traffic measures to address chokepoints near schools in the National Capital Region (NCR).
In a meeting at the MMDA head office in Pasig City, MMDA Chair Romando "Don" Artes identified critical chokepoints in the Ortigas area, particularly around La Salle Greenhills and Saint Pedro Poveda College.
To date, the MMDA has begun the installation of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras on several roads leading to schools for the No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP).
