Manila, July 1 -- The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has signed an accord with the Philippine National Oil Company (PNOC) to power two of its project sites with solar energy.
In a signing ceremony on Monday, MMDA Chairman Don Artes said the memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed with the PNOC aligns with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s commitment to advancing energy resilience and sustainability in the public sector.
"Together, we are embarking on projects that represent our shared vision for a cleaner and more energy-efficient future," Artes said in a statement on Tuesday.
