Manila, April 4 -- The Police Regional Office (PRO) 4B (Mimaropa) would implement maximum police presence to secure the influx of travelers during the Holy Week and summer months in the region.
Mimaropa police chief Brig. Gen. Roger Quesada said 1,221 cops will be deployed, and 129 police assistance desks have also been activated as part of the Philippine National Police's (PNP) "Ligtas Summer Vacation (SumVac)" campaign.
Quesada said the deployment aims to safeguard communities and visitors during the summer months, particularly in areas with high foot traffic.
