MANILA, April 4 -- The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 has been undergoing "scheduled power shutdown for preventive maintenance" from April 2 until May 28, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) announced Thursday.

"The scheduled power shutdown will affect the terminal's open and multilevel parking, main substation and substations in the south and north concourses. The activity could also result in reduced air conditioning in certain areas and non-functioning elevators and escalators," MIAA said in a news release.

"As far as practicable, these (power shutdowns) will start at midnight when the least number of flights is scheduled," the MIAA said, without citing how long each maintenance activity would last...
