Manila, Dec. 13 -- The city of Mati in Davao Oriental is hopeful that all its 26 barangays would be declared as drug-cleared by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) next year. During the fourth quarterly joint meeting of the City Peace and Order Council and the City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) on Wednesday, City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) focal person, Col. Jose Moring, said he believes that PDEA will declare all of Mati City's barangays as drug-cleared. Mayor Michelle Rabat welcomed Moring's assessment, even as she urged residents to be involved in the local government's anti-drug campaign.
