Manila, Oct. 28 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has called for the stronger implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) to deepen integration as the world faces increasing economic and trade uncertainties.
In his intervention at the 5th RCEP Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Monday, Marcos underscored the need for parties to advance the accession process "without delay."
"Early expansion of RCEP will not only deepen regional integration and reinforce supply chain resilience, but also reaffirm ASEAN's central role in shaping the region's economic future," he said.
