Manila, Sept. 16 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has approved a new round of salary increases for employees of government-owned and -controlled corporations (GOCCs), recognizing their role in delivering record contributions to state coffers.

Speaking during the 2025 GOCCs' Day in Malacanang on Tuesday, Marcos said he signed off on the Compensation and Position Classification System (CPCS) II, which will provide salary adjustments for GOCC workers.

"Well-deserved indeed," Marcos said, drawing applause.

The President added that GOCC employees would also receive a tiered medical allowance, subject to each GOCC's financial capacity.
