Manila, Dec. 12 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has appointed additional members of the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB).
Palace Press Officer Claire Castro on Friday confirmed to Palace reporters that the new set of MTRCB board members has been named.
According to the appointment paper signed by the President on Dec. 2, the new members are Nestor Cuartero, Maria Rosario Fabregas, and Ma. Cecilia Villarosa.
The new appointees will serve until Sept. 30, 2026.
They replace Jerry Talavera, Cherry Anne Espion, and Jan Marini Cadungog.
The MTRCB is the government agency responsible for reviewing and classifying movies, television programs, and other audiovisual content in the Philippines.
