BUSAN, Nov. 2 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. returned to Manila on Sunday (Nov. 2) after what he called a "very productive" Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Gyeongju, where leaders tackled global trade, artificial intelligence (AI) and climate action amid rising geopolitical and economic uncertainty.
The plane carrying the President and his delegation departed from Gimhae Air Base in this city at 11:55 a.m. (10:55 a.m. Manila time).
The trip capped a four-day working visit that saw Marcos push for deeper economic cooperation and stronger defense ties with South Korea and other Asia-Pacific countries.
