MANILA, Oct. 18 -- With only two weeks to go before "Undas," or All Saints' Day on Nov. 1 and All Souls' Day on Nov. 2, the city government of Manila has reminded the public of the rules to be observed at the North Cemetery during the annual Catholic Christian commemoration.

In a social media post, the Manila Public Information Office said cleaning, repairs and painting in the 54-hectare cemetery are allowed until Oct. 27 only.

The cemetery is open to the public from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2, from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Burial is allowed until Oct. 28, while regular services will resume on Nov. 3.
