Manila, May 13 -- Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna on Tuesday conceded defeat as she trailed behind Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso in the partial and unofficial results of the May 12 elections.

"We humbly accept the decision of the majority of us," Lacuna said in a short video message posted online.

Based on partial and unofficial results from the Commission on Elections' (Comelec) transparency servers as 4:48 p.m. on Tuesday, Domagoso is ahead in the mayoral race with 527,000 votes compared to Lacuna's 190,087. Actor Sam Verzosa placed third with 163,577 votes.

Domagoso, however, has yet to be proclaimed as of posting time.
