MANILA, Dec. 5 -- President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s recent visits to military camps reflect his appreciation and support for government troops, Malacanang said Friday.

In a press briefing, Palace Press Officer Claire Castro stressed that Marcos' visits are part of his duty as commander-in-chief and should not be questioned, regardless of current issues confronting him, including the military's alleged plan to withdraw support to his administration.
