MANILA, April 9 -- A magnitude 6.7 earthquake jolted Davao Occidental at 5:48 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the tectonic quake struck 368 kilometers of Balut Island. It was 10 kilometers deep.

There were no reported intensities on Phivolcs' earthquake bulletin.

The following instrumental intensities, however, were logged: Intensity II - Malungon, Sarangani Intensity I - Alabel, Glan and Kiamba, Sarangani; Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental; City of Digos, Davao del Sur
