Manila, May 27 -- A magnitude 4.6 earthquake jolted Quezon on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The tectonic quake struck 24 km. northwest of General Nakar at 12:17 p.m. It was 10 km. deep.
Intensity IV was felt in Makati; Manila; Marikina; City of San Pedro, Laguna; and Tanay, Rizal.
Intensity III was reported in Navotas; Quezon City; Pasay City; San Juan; Taguig; Guiguinto and City of Malolos, Bulacan; City of Palayan, Nueva Ecija; Mabalacat City, Pampanga; Angeles City; and Binan.
Intensity II was reported in Caloocan; Mandaluyong; Paranaque; Valenzuela; Obando, Bulacan; and Cabiao, Nueva Ecija.
