Manila, July 20 -- Tennielle Madis and Stefi Marithe Aludo of the Philippine Tennis Academy secured the doubles crown in the first leg of the J60 PHINMA-ITF Championships which concluded Sunday at the Manila Polo Club shell court in Makati City.

The third-seeded Filipinos pulled off a 6-2, 7-5 win over No. 2 Taiwanese pair Yuhan Chen and Yu-Ning Tsai to claim their fifth career title.

In the semifinals, Madis and Aludo eliminated Japan's Aoi Watanabe and Korea's Yesung Choo, 6-4, 6-2, while Chen and Tsai overcame Australia's Taylah Lessue and Korea's Seojin Park, 6-2, 6-4.

Third seed Choo bounced back in the girls' singles and defeated No. 7 Aludo, 6-2, 6-2.
