Manila, March 21 -- The Land Transportation Office (LTO) on Friday summoned the owner of a motorcycle for parking in the middle of a road in Antipolo City.

In a statement, LTO chief Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza expressed surprise at the brazen actions of its rider after an image of the parked motorcycle went viral on Facebook.

"Talagang mapapailing ka na lang na may mga motoristang ganito ang asal sa kalsada. Subalit gusto din nating pakinggan ang kanyang panig dahil may karapatan siya for due process (You can only shake your head with the behavior of such motorists. But we also want to hear their side as part of their right to due process)," Mendoza said.
